Synopsis

At court, nothing was left to chance. Rituals, symbols, gestures, and ceremonies were part of a precise language through which power asserted its authority and built its image. Even the spaces contributed to this narrative: every place had a function, every detail a meaning.

The palace and the city thus become two parts of the same story, to be reconstructed clue by clue.
