Synopsis

Visitors will discover the second-floor apartments of the Royal Palace, the residence of the Princes of Piedmont and the Dukes of Aosta, which were renovated several times between the 18th and 19th centuries by the court’s leading architects. From 1925 to 1946, they were inhabited by Umberto of Savoy and Maria José of Belgium, who enriched them with modern furnishings and enlivened them with receptions and grand events.
