Synopsis
A visit to the Galleria Sabauda—founded in 1832 by Carlo Alberto and enriched over time by significant donations such as the Gualino Collection—offers an extraordinary journey through the history of art collecting and artistic taste from the 14th to the 20th century. This special tour will focus on a selection of the gallery’s greatest masterpieces, allowing visitors to admire the most famous works by Italian masters such as Beato Angelico, Veronese, Gentileschi, and Tiepolo, alongside an exceptional selection of Flemish and Dutch paintings, including works by Rubens, Rembrandt, and Van Eyck, culminating in the prestigious collection of industrialist Riccardo Gualino, which features Botticelli’s famous Venus.
